Ripsower Why & How Demonstration

Event starts at Larson Family Farm 661 South St and

Ends at SVTFarm 1083 VT 30, Wells, VT.

Join in a discussion and see a demonstration of the ripsower and its impact. The Vermont Ripsower interplants diverse, deep-rooted flowering forbs, decompacts topsoil and subsoil at increasing depths, triggers and aids topsoil-formation processes, and applies farm-brewed biostimulants and minerals to seeds during planting for:
* increasing yield and forage quality
* total infiltration farming
* unlocking accelerated topsoil-formation
* increasing soil biodiversity
* reducing fertilizer and other inputs
* drought proofing our farms and watersheds
* increasing food and environmental security for our communities

Please bring your own lunch and a small bag - free seed offered to all. Water and light snacks will be provided.

The event is free but registration is required, it will help us gauge the crowd size. Event takes place rain, snow or shine, so please dress appropriately.
